In my PC Cleanup/Virus removal/Performance tuning work I have seen
several PCs and Laptops that don't/won't connect to the Internet with
the System Tray message:
Access: Local Only
In other words, the wireless card is properly connected to the wireless router, BUT NOT connected to the Internet.
The Solution:
Change the Wireless Network Card's Property Settings for Speed and Duplex

Follow these path steps:
- Start,
- Control panel,
- System,
- Device manager,
- Select your wireless Network Card,
- Properties,
- Advanced tab,
- Speed and Duplex,
- Experiment with different settings, BUT,
- Changing from auto detect to 100 Mbps Half (Duplex) worked great!
